Black Friday and Cyber Monday is the time to invest on your photographic equipment and you will instantly improve your photographs. Whether you have a company with a photogenic product or you are an aspiring professional, these deals and products might come in handy for your future photoshoots.
I’ve narrowed down the following products to have the
best deals throughout the BF & CM sales :
Ring light
This product probably ranks highest in the Black Friday bargain section. A ring light will immediately give you that soft full light you are looking for your social media posts. Online shops usually have the best deals on ring lights on various good brands, ranging from €20-€60. If you really need to invest at a higher quality ring light, it shouldn’t come up to more than €100. Make sure to get a ring light kit with a tripod for either your smartphone or your DSLR and some interchangeable filters like frost, yellow and blue so you can alternate looks.
Memory Cards
This is where you will find me indulging the most. You might need to invest a bit more of money here but the deals are worth it. Usually you can find bundles of 2-3 cards sold together around €50-€200. Again, depending on the capacity and speed you might need the price will ascend, nevertheless, it’s a lossless purchase. It’s one of those items where you need it the most when you don’t have it and limiting yourself to one card per photoshoot can bust your creativity.
Tripod
There are some fair deals in this department. Whether you are using a Smartphone or a DSLR, I would advise you to check the weight of your kit (incl. lens and battery) before purchasing a tripod. Black Friday deals can vary in the sense that you might find a cheap deal from a fairly good brand but it might not support the weight of your camera. Usually more heavy duty tripods cost more, depending on your kit you can find something between €30-€80.
Camera Bag
Your camera needs a cozy home when you are not taking photographs. There are various styles and sizes you can choose a good deal from around €20-€100. As soon as travelling is back on the table this product is the one you’ll find using the most. I prefer bags that have removable padded dividers, it gives you the luxury of allocating equipment for every photoshoot’s needs. Having a case for the laptop or a strap for the tripod is always a plus!
Of course there will be more good deals out there, and I encourage you to take advantage of them. Shop cautiously though and if you have any questions about other equipment, simply leave a comment and I’ll reply in warp speed.
